Love’s Final Reveal

Chapter 60

The only sound that could be heard in the dimly lit room was the ticking of a pocket watch.

The sound was rhythmic and slow as if it were coming from afar.

“Tell me. Who are you?” Heather asked, and her voice was light and enticing.

However, Lola, who had passed out, did not respond as if she couldn’t hear Heather’s voice.

Dominick frowned slightly and wondered, “Could the hypnosis have failed? Mom had mentioned that this method of hypnosis has never been used before, and she is not sure if it will work. But if it doesn’t work this time, Jenna will definitely be wary of me.”

“Please relax completely. Now, you can only hear my voice. You are lost in the fog, and besides me, you have nothing else. Please tell me your name.” Heather spoke again, trying to remain calm and steady. If she panicked or hurried, the hypnosis would be even less effective.

At that moment, the room was so quiet that one could hear a pin drop. Dominick stared at the woman lying on the bed, waiting for her to speak.

As time ticked by, a full ten minutes had passed, yet it felt as if it had been an eternity.

Just when Heather thought the hypnosis had failed, the woman on the bed suddenly moved her finger and said, “I am Jenna.”

Dominick’s eyes narrowed, and he thought, ‘It worked!”

Heather replied, “Hello, Jenna. I am your friend, your most trusted friend. There is a little girl named Lola. She is your dearest and most beloved sister. But she has gone missing. Can you tell me

where she is?” This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

She continued the hypnosis methodically, knowing that any mistake at this point could ruin everything.

“Lola?” Jenna’s tone suddenly grew cold and harsh.

She continued, “She is not my most beloved sister! We are twins. But why should she receive more love just because she is younger?

“I hate her! I despise her! Everything she now has should belong to me, only to me!”

Jenna grew more and more agitated until she gripped the sheets tightly, her veins bulging on the back of her hands.

Heather asked, “So, you have successfully killed Lola, have you? You’ve fulfilled your long–standing wish.”

Jenna’s expression contorted in rage as she said, “Impossible. I would never let her die so easily. I want her to watch helplessly as everything that belonged to her becomes mine. I want her to be left with nothing!

“She is now locked in the basement of Willowcroft Tower. I only allow the servants to feed her leftovers once a day. She deserves

it!”

Dominick’s presence turned dangerously menacing. His eyes glowed with a bloodthirsty red, and he wanted to strangle Jenna

right then and there.

He couldn’t even bear to think about the kind of life Lola was enduring now.

Dominick was struggling to contain his hatred, his rationality slipping away bit by bit as he was filled with the desire to kill.

Without realizing it, he had already walked over to Jenna. Dominick’s hands trembled slightly as he raised them. His eyes were filled with murderous intent and were fixed only on Jenna’s neck.

“Dom, wait!” Heather was concentrating on the hypnosis, and by the time she noticed it, it was too late to stop him.

As she snapped out of it, the hypnosis ended, and Jenna on the bed started to react.

After the hypnosis ended, the drug Dominick used on Jenna was no longer effective. When she slowly opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was his bloodshot eyes.

She was startled and immediately panicked. Then, Jenna remembered her current identity.

Although Jenna was unclear about what had happened, she still pretended to be Lola to avoid exposing herself

She asked, “Dom, Heather, why are you both in my room? What happened?”

Now that Dominick already knew where Lola was, he could no longer pretend, even for half a minute.

He declared, “Jenna, I won’t let you leave Talondria alive.”

Such words from Dominick’s mouth were never a threat but a declaration. The fierceness in his tone was genuinely frightening.

Jenna’s eyes slowly widened in surprise, never expecting her identity to be exposed like this.

“What… What have you done to me?” It was only then that Jenna noticed the purple crystal bracelet and the pocket watch in Heather’s hands.

Jenna anxiously thought, ‘This is bad! I forgot she knew how to hypnotize!”

Initially, she had spent a long time gathering information about the people around Lola before seizing the opportunity to impersonate her.

But every time Jenna was near Dominick, she felt an inexplicable panic, causing her to forget the most crucial detail.

“Jenna, how can you be so cruel to your own sister? You don’t even deserve to be called human!” With the hypnosis over, Heather no longer suppressed her anger.

Jenna’s first reaction was not fear, nor was it to beg for mercy.

Instead, she coldly smirked and even managed a laugh.

Jenna looked at Dominick with a seductive gaze and said, “You really are an outstanding man, handsome at least. As for your career, I didn’t get the chance to learn much before you uncovered my identity, which was unexpected.

“Lola, oh no, I should say Layla. She and I have exactly the same face. Lola doesn’t care about you at all now. She hates you. Why bother being so devoted to her? Isn’t it the same with me?.

“After all, there’s no difference between us, right?”

Jenna knew exactly how to use her face, which was identical to Lola’s, to her advantage.

She even deliberately mimicked Lola’s previous demeanor, Jenna looked on with her large eyes that were filled with confusion and grievance. Her eyes glistened as she looked at Dominick.

Jenna asked, “Why can’t you be with me? Am I not good enough?”

She was well aware that her current situation was extremely unfavorable, Dominick wanted her dead, and she could see that just from the look in his eyes.

To survive, Jenna had no choice but to resort to this tactic.

Dominick’s expression remained grim as he narrowed his eyes and moved closer to her.

Suddenly, he raised his hand and grabbed Jenna by the neck, his voice fierce and ruthless. “If you pretend to be her again, I’ll kill you! You don’t deserve to!”

Dominick pondered firmly, “Lola will always be Lola. There will always be only one Lola, even if the woman before me has the same face as hers!”

Jenna couldn’t maintain her facade any longer, panic flickering in her eyes.

She then struggled to utter an incomplete sentence, “Are…are you crazy? If you kill me…you’ll never… You’ll never find Lola again, believe it or not…”

However, Dominick’s grip didn’t loosen in the slightest. His expression contorted with rage, looking as if ready to erupt at any

moment.

He declared, “I already know her location. As for your life, it ends when I say it does, understand?”

Dominick’s current demeanor was like a demon that had crawled out of hell, terrifyingly formidable.

Jenna was scared as she had never seen such a terrifying man before.
