Unrivaled Dragon Lord

Chapter 99 Zachariah Sandoval

Chapter 99 Zachariah Sandoval

Greta shuddered and got gooseflesh all over.

Maxwell offered to hold her hand, making her frown instinctively.

Greta had always hated other men holding her hand. She was very defensive about this kind of

physical contact!

But somehow, Greta let Maxwell lead her to a seat.

At the corner of a small food stall, Maxwell brought two plastic stools and sat down.

"Take a seat," said Maxwell, pointing to the plastic stool nearby.

Greta timidly looked around. She felt that the surroundings were dirty and messy.

And the plastic tool seemed not clean.

Could she feel at ease to have dinner at such place?

Greta was upset, and Maxwell, who could see Greta's anxiety, smiled, and pulled out a few napkins

and put them on the stool.

"Sit down, my Ms. Greta," Maxwell laughed.

Greta glared at Maxwell, then carefully gathered up her skirt, sat down, folded her legs, and looked

around.

"Where's the menu?" Greta asked, looking around for the menu.

"Menu?" Maxwell paused for a moment, then explained, "There's no menu."

"Hey, sir, give me some spicy crayfish, the more the better," Maxwell said to the boss.

"All right."

"How can you order food without a menu?" Greta looked at Maxwell with a puzzled look. She had

never been to such kind of food stall before.

"There are many regular visitors here, and they all are familiar with the menu, so they don't even need

a menu," said Maxwell, "I found this food stall on the Internet, and it got the highest rating in crayfish."

"The highest rating? With the surroundings like this?" Greta frowned, showing a hint of disgust.

"The surrounding is not important as long as the food is delicious." Maxwell smiled faintly. "You'll see

how delicious their food is."

Greta looked at Maxwell with an incredulous look.

Soon, a hot bowl of crayfish was served.

Greta glazed over at the bright red crayfish.

"Ms. Greta, please." Maxwell put on the plastic gloves.

"It... are they edible?" Greta held out her slender fingers, gingerly lifting up the crayfish by the whiskers.

Greta looked pale. The strong and powerful CEO was timid when facing a hot and spicy crayfish dish.

"Of course they are edible." Maxwell was stunned.

"Well." Greta's eyes swept over the crayfish with a hard shell. The two bulging shrimp eyes frightened

her!

While Greta hesitated, Maxwell peeled off the shell and relished the delicious shrimp.

"It's so delicious and tender." While Maxwell was enjoying the shrimps, Greta had been studying the

crayfish for a long time.

"Why don't you try it?" Maxwell looked at Greta and paused.

"I can't do it," Greta said.

"You don't know how to peel off the shell?" Maxwell stared at Greta. "You don't want me to peel it for

you, do you?"

Maxwell had a bad hunch, and Greta nodded, blinking at Maxwell.

So, Maxwell put down his half-peeled shrimp, then began to peel the shrimps for her.

The key was that Maxwell had to carefully peel the shells off and pick out the meat while resisting the

steaming aroma of the shrimps.

However, when Greta summoned up her courage and tasted the shrimp with great care, she was

surprised to find that the shrimp was sweet, soft and tender with a spicy flavor.

It did taste great! Greta blinked as Maxwell peeled the shrimps and urged him to hurry up.

Maxwell was so speechless. He intended to let the president treat him to dinner, but they ended up

having shrimps and he was asked to peel the shrimps for her!

Maxwell stared bitterly at the shrimps, fantasizing about how delicious they were and handing it to

Greta.

Greta took a deep breath. The spicy crayfish meat was so fresh and spicy that her red lips were numb.

Gradually, Greta ate more and more. Usually, she would only have a small bowl of rice. But today, she

had finished up a large bowl of shrimps!

"Are there any more?" Greta sipped her red lips and looked expectantly at Maxwell.

"Yes." Maxwell sighed and called the boss over again.

Later, Greta ate several more bowls, and Maxwell felt tired. Greta was satisfied after having several

bowls of shrimps. She belched and said, "I'm full."

Greta got up and walked with Maxwell to the Maybach, which was parked at the side of the road.

On the way home, Greta suddenly said, "Come to this food stall next time."

Maxwell was stunned for a moment and said with a wry smile, "Ms. Greta. You got addicted to it, but I

haven't had many shrimps."

"Haven't you just had some?" Greta looked confused, as if she didn't know anything about it.

Maxwell was speechless. He was just busy peeling the shrimps for her, and didn't have much time to

have some.

But Maxwell held back his anger, smiled, and said softly, "Greta, if you like it, we'll come to that food

stall next time."

"Thank you." Greta nodded and said, "I'll treat you next time."

In the mansion, Andreas walked into his study and sat down at his desk.

His eyes were deep, and rested on the old telephone in front of him.

There was more than one phone in the house, but only Andreas knew that this old-fashioned phone,

which appeared to be just a decoration, was the most unusual in the whole house because the old

phone could be connected to a special place in Beijing.

That place, even the Sandoval family, was out of reach.

Andreas took a deep breath and held up the old phone.

"Andreas?" Moments later, a deep, steady voice rang out on the other end of the phone.

"Brother," Andreas spoke humbly. He was always untamed and arrogant, but in front of the man, he put

aside his dignity!

This man was Zachariah Sandoval, who Andreas wouldn't be compared with! Zachariah was the future

head of the Sandoval family. In Beijing officialdom, everyone knew him!

Zachariah's fame in the officialdom was bigger than Andreas's in the market. He was so powerful in the

officialdom that without him, the Sandoval family could hardly raise its head when it was down and out! Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Although Andreas was a prodigy, he was dwarfed by Zachariah.

"What do you want from me? How are you in Ocean City. Is everything all right?" Zachariah asked.

"Brother, I'm in trouble in Ocean City," said Andreas.

"Oh? This man is not simple if he can cause you troubles," Zachariah said slowly.

"Brother, I want you to do me a favor. Could you help me check a person?" pleaded Andreas.

"Go ahead. I'll try my best."

"Maxwell Kirk!" Andreas said, looking sharp.

He didn't believe he couldn't find out who Maxwell was!

Even though he had to put aside his dignity and asked his brother for help, he had to figure out who

Maxwell was!

"Maxwell Kirk?" Zachariah was slightly surprised when he heard the name.

‘What's the matter, brother?" Andreas asked.

"I can't check out who he is," Zachariah said slowly.

"Why?" Andreas frowned. His brother was in a high position in officialdom, but he couldn't check out

who Maxwell was?

"Just let the man go for the moment. Andreas, don't get involved with this man. Even I can't find out

who he is," said Zachariah.

Andreas was taken aback by what Zachariah meant. He had already looked it up before?

"You know him too, brother?" Andreas asked.

"I have been watching you silently. I have information about everyone you know, except Maxwell Kirk!"

Zachariah said seriously. "He seems to be just a matrilocal son-in-law of the Sandoval family, but many

things are inextricably linked with him."

"Andreas, you know what I mean?" Zachariah said meaningfully.

Andreas was totally stunned.

His brother couldn't find any information about Maxwell? What did it mean?

Even Zachariah, who was in high position, couldn't find any useful information. Maybe Maxwell's

background was so strong that even Zachariah was not qualified to know it. Or, Maxwell was just a

humble kept man, so there was nothing worth recording.

Andreas hung up the phone. It was the first time he went lost, and felt the chill down his spine.

Who the hell was Maxwell?

Was he really just a kept man?
