Troublemaker Boy

Chapter 18: 17

Chapter 18: 17

"Sam, tell me." Said Farrel pleading. "Who is Aretha Maharani?"

Across there, Ocean sighed heavily. "You're one step closer to your goal, keep working. The key is in

you."

"Until when, Sam?" Farrel's voice rose. "That is if I can remember again. Otherwise? Until I die, I'll

never find out who that girl is."

"I'm sure, you must be able to remember who he is. You managed to remember his name alone, it is a

miracle."

"Yes, please!" Annoyed Farrel. "I'm going to have someone investigate what really happened to me five

years ago."

"Do not try anything with me!" Warnings of the Ocean with a rising voice. "You can't ask anyone for

help, you have to remember it yourself!"

"I don't care. Sooner or later, I'll find out what you've been hiding."

"It's useless, you won't find it."

"Is it true?" Farrel smiled crookedly. "Then, if you're sure I won't find him, why are you so nervous?"

"Up to you!" Ocean snapped annoyed, the man unilaterally disconnected his phone.

Farrel smiled meaningfully, if it's like this, nothing will be able to hinder his efforts. Blame them, who

said they were family but covered up everything instead. Not giving Farrell access to remember his

past, they told him to remember himself without wanting to help. Do they think Farrell is Google? Can

know everything, no!

Farrel sighed, then walked to the window that reflected the expanse of London that afternoon. He

looked around, this place feels familiar. In fact, it was his first time here like him. It wasn't work that led

him here, but a little premonition related to his dream.

"Aretha Maharani," muttered Farrel softly. "Who are you?"

Sleepiness, that's what Dave had been feeling. His eyes were no longer able to open anymore, but still

he could not fall asleep even though he had closed his eyes from his heart. The boy was lying on the

bed, pulling the blanket because the weather was getting cold, and closed his eyes ready to go to

sleep. However, he couldn't fall asleep. Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

This is all because of the arrival of Charles, his father. Huh, if that guy weren't her dad, Dave would be

furious with him. What Dave learned at school, a father is a man who is responsible and has to guide

the family. Not an obscure man whose hobbies are angry, hitting and coming home in the middle of the

night. What kind of father is that?

Dave covered his ears with both hands, he felt like crying uncontrollably. Dad's return was a disaster,

not a good thing. His friends at school often tell me that they are always waiting for their father to come

home from work to have dinner together. In contrast to himself, who expected that his father did not

have to go home at all.

"What kind of woman, are you ?! Incompetent!"

Charles's curses and scolding have become Ree and Dave's daily meals. This house will feel like hell

when Charles comes home, it will be terrifying when he is here. And it all scared Dave, he was afraid if

he had to be hit by his father because of a mistake he did not know why.

"Where's that damn kid ?!"

Dave gripped tightly on the sprey that covered his mattress, tears began to flow. He started crying. The

sound of Charles's stomping was starting to come up the stairs, and in a moment the man would come

into his room and start beating him. Dave did not know what was wrong, so every time Charles came

home, he had to take a beating from the man who he said was the father.

"What do you want ?!" Ree's voice was heard, his mother, crying, held Charles back into his room.

"I want to teach him a lesson!" Charles yelled at Ree, Dave tightening his grip even more.

"What lesson?!" Ree replied no less loudly. "Stop beating him for no reason! He's already suffering so

much because he has a father like you!"

"Shut up!" Charles slapped Ree on the cheek until the woman fell to the floor, Ree could feel something

flowing from his lips. His lips may be torn because he feels the pain.

"Dave!" Shouted Charles as he banged on the door to the boy's room, he did not lock the room which

he was sure Charles would enter easily.

As the door to his room was smashed violently, Dave could feel his body lifted. And his face

immediately felt the heat of his father's slap which landed right on his fat cheek.

"Who are you meeting with?" Asked Charles with an angry face.

"N-nothing," Dave replied haltingly.

"Liar!" Charles slapped Dave's cheek again, hard.

Dave was crying uncontrollably, holding back the pain he felt on his cheeks. The boy tried to break free,

but his father's grip was too strong.

"Let go of my son!" Ree shouted from behind, trying to grab Dave from Charles's hand.

Charles growled, he threw a small body ave to the mattress. Then, he turned around and slapped Ree

again to silence her.

"You shut up, or I'll do more than this to him!" Said Charles while pointing at Dave.

"Don't hurt Dave, I beg of you .." Ree softly held the pain. "He's my son, yours too. Do you have the

heart to hurt your own child?"

"You stay here!" Charles said, ignoring Ree's words, he turned back to meet Dave who was still crying

on the bed.

"Answer me, who is the man you met?" Asked Charles in a low voice. His hand gripped Dave's

shoulder, making the boy grimace in pain.

"I-I also don't know him, Dad .." Dave whispered.

"For the first and last." Charles stared at Ree and Dave in turn. "Never communicate with outsiders!"

He threw Dave's body. "If you don't want this to happen again."

Charles looked away from Dave's room, leaving the Mother and Son who were now crying together.

Ree hugged his son tightly, then gently stroked Dave's cheek which looked blue.

"You told me, right?" Ree looked into Dave's eyes. "Never communicate with people we don't know."

"But, Mother. Why? What's wrong?" Asked the boy in surprise. "And why did you know? Didn't he not

see him?"

"Dave, listen to Mom." Ree grabbed Dave's shoulders. "Mother doesn't understand what's wrong here

either. But we can't do much. Your father has lots of spies watching us."

"But why should we be watched?" He asked in surprise. "We're not criminals, Mother."

"Just go with your father's wishes, we can't fight him."

"When I grow up and can fight Father, I'll take Mother out of here." Said Dave.

Ree smiled. "For now, we can just do everything your father wants. So, Dave, stay away from that guy.

For Mom."

Dave nodded, "all right, Mother .:
