Chapter 11: TOLU

You can't just walk away." Balogun tries to reason with her but Tife has had enough already.

"I can't take this anymore Balogun, I'll make sure I check on Tolu." She says, walks away and leaves

the house, Tolu comes out of hiding and runs to Balogun.

"What happened daddy?" Tolu worries but still doesn't know what's going on, Balogun carries her.

"Your mom will be back but I'll need you to stay with your grandma for the meantime."

Years passed and Tife never showed up, Tolu never gave up on hope she was always optimistic even

at her young age. Most times she'll sit on a couch facing the front door just waiting for her mom to show

up and settle back in with her father but has the years continue to pass Tife never showed up, one

night Tolu sits down waiting again for her mom but she still didn't show up this wasn't like other days

this was Tolu's birthday and even though Tife never showed up during her birthday she still had hope

but she was growing older and it was time for her to accept the truth that her mother will never show uo

part of her felt Tife was involved in a car accident cause she wasn't ready to admit to herself that her

mom might never show up.

In 2003, Tolu is in a supermarket looking for deodorants to buy but she stumbles upon something very

shocking! It was a poster of Tife her mom selling hair products this proves that Tife wasn't dead and

was alive. Tolu runs to the bathroom and cries, her eyes were blurry she had made up a story in her

head that her mom died but seeing this proves her mom didn't just care and bother to look for her. She

only had her father.

In 2005, Tolu is on her way to the police academy this marked one of the greatest days of her life. She

had always admired her father and wanted to be just like him, he was her role model and was so happy

he was proud of her, they both walk around the street.

"You need to be careful as you're going to the academy, you're the only Supernatural there." He

cautious her, Tolu isn't scared she had been preparing for this. Her and Balogun would always train she

knew she was ready and was confident.

"I can take care of myself dad, you know that." Balogun knew she could but he wasn't talking about

fighting alone.

"Just be careful, it gets dangerous and most times you're going to feel used but it always gets better."

Balogun gently says.

In the present, Ayo is still digging for clues until he stumbles to a folder. He checks it out and sees a

picture of Papa dancing with Bryan from the organization.

A young woman appears in Richard's room and speaks.

"Your mom wants to see you today." She fades away.

Ayo gets a text message from a distant friend which says. "She's on her way, where should she meet

you."

I'm a flashback, Oloogun is meditating in the middle of a forest Papa suddenly walks up to him. Tired of

Papa's shenanigans Oloogun talks.

"What do you want?" He sighs, they both had a love and hate relationship with the way they related,

Papa kneels down in front of Oloogun.

"Long life but not for me this time but for someone else." This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Oloogun chuckles by what Papa just said. "After giving you for free last time sadly this one comes with

a price."
