The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

“You two, come outside.” Saying this, Sophia left from them. Ethlyn sensed that she was just a human, but still, she ordered an Alpha with authority, and also, by seeing her, the color of Calvin’s face paled. Calvin quickly reached toward the wardrobe to get a fresh t-shirt. That was when Ethlyn sensed her parents’ scent.

‘Why am I having the scent of my parents here? There is no way they can be here. This shameless Alpha won’t let them in this easily, or will he?’

“Do you need the invitation to leave the bed?” Calvin asked sarcastically.

Ethlyn quickly left the bed before asking, “My parents are here, aren’t they? What are you planning against me?”

“O hello, I’m not a criminal who has done a Ph. D. in planning and plotting. I’m damn sure that it must be your parents’ plan to come here with my parents.” Calvin responded bitterly. “Now, come out quickly; Dad doesn’t like waiting.” Saying this, he left the room first, and Ethlyn quickly followed him, cursing her parents if it was really them behind everything.

‘Why did they involve Alpha Calvin’s parents? Now, they will also stand against me just like Alpha.’ She mentally thought and watched her parents sitting on the couch, and a man in his sixties, who looked like an older version of Calvin, was sitting on the other couch, and the same lady that came to call them.

Ethlyn’s cheeks turned red in embarrassment; by thinking about the position, she caught them on the bed. Also, she was positive that the other people would also have an idea about it. After all, they were werewolves, and the door of the room was open.

“Mom!!” Calvin reached near them and hugged Sophia first, and kissed her cheek. After breaking the hug, “What a pleasant shock, dad!!” He added, hitting his fist with Brandon’s in a friendly way, and sat beside him, giving him a side hug.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

Seeing the bond of Calvin with his parents, Ethlyn was positive that now she would have to fight with everyone for her daughter.

‘Mom, please tell me that you’re not behind it.’ She mind-linked Abigail, throwing daggers through her eyes.

‘Trust me, princess. They’re here to help you, not to become a barrier between you and your daughter.’ Abigail assured Ethlyn, recalling the conversation on the phone. Instead of going to Paris and talking to them, Zordan shared Sophia’s number with them so that Brandon and Sophia could also reach Blood Moon Pack together with them.

“I’m glad that you felt that way because even we were shocked to learn that you didn’t share the news about finding Rose’s mommy,” Brandon said, patting Calvin’s back and pulling out a chocolate bar from his pocket, forwarding it toward him.

“Thank you, dad,” Calvin said and quickly started eating it, not caring over the fact that he was thirty-two years old man and three more people were sitting over there. While for Brandon, Calvin was the same little pup who always used to get happy, seeing chocolates from his father. So, he was also a father now, but he was still a pup for Brandon.

“We all were searching for her since day one, then what happened all of a sudden that you not just share about it with us and also didn’t want her to do with Rose?” Brandon asked.

Calvin stopped, eating his chocolate, and replied bluntly, “Because I don’t want my Rose to be anywhere this characterless woman.”

Christian growled at Calvin for using that word for his daughter, and Ethlyn’s fist tightened, but Brandon growled at Christian for growling at his pup.

“I will give you and your daughter a chance to speak, Mr. Christian Smith. Dare you disrespect my son because you three are in his pack right now.” Brandon said in a cold tone, releasing his Alpha aura. Sophia held her arms to calm him down while Calvin enjoyed his chocolate, watching everything. It wasn’t every day that his father supported him.

Brandon looked at Calvin and asked, “I hope you have a reason for calling her by that particular name.”

“Yes, I have it. I met her once at my friend Christopher’s wedding, Dad.” Calvin said and narrated everything to his parents, whatever was in his knowledge. “… and this woman… who knew that her friend was wrong but was still supporting her. What kind of morals will she give to my daughter to speak lie? Support the wrong deed?”

“I…” Ethlyn tried to speak when Calvin cut her in between.

“You will get a chance, Woman. Let me finish first,” he said rudely, shutting her. “She was supporting the cheating of her friend. Not just that, she herself cheated on her mate by sleeping with me.” He pointed out.

“I might have slept with unlimited women, but I have never cheated on anyone because I was never committed to anyone,” Calvin spoke. “I don’t have a problem with a woman having a lot of affairs, or they do n their life, but what I hate is betrayal, and she is one of that women. And I don’t want Rose anywhere near her and learn anything from her.”

“And do you know what had recently happened in her pack?” With this, he told them how they insulted Roselet and made her cry unstoppable. Sophia was quick to hold Brandon, who was ready to tear Abigail into pieces.

Over the phone call, Christian and Abigail just told them about their past deed, but never did they mention the recent incident.

“Dad, Dad!! Please listen to my words instead of glaring at them.” Calvin said, gaining Brandon’s attention toward him. “To be honest, I don’t expect anything good from Mr. & Mrs. Smith. And their daughter is following their footsteps who not a once stopped her mother that night.”
