Emma’s word
Tihana finally stepped out of her room after what seems like decade. She had heard Aiden’s car drive out about three hours ago but she still didn’t make an attempt to step outside.
Also, she had made sure to switch off her phone. Somehow, she just couldn’t summon the courage to tell Diana about this. Thinking about the pregnancy made Tihana touch her stomach, it was still at the early stage so it was barely noticeable.
When she woke up and looked at herself in the mirror, Tihana had been surprised as of how swallow her face was.
She breathed, Aiden was kind of suffocating her and she don’t know for how long she can stand his presence. Having him not at home right now was the best for Tihana.
At least that’s what she thinks.
“Did Aiden say anything or where he’s going before he left?”
Tihana asked the maid she meet outside her door as she starts making her way down the stairs.
“No ma’am. We didn’t even know when he left.”
“What’s for dinner?” Tihana finally asked as she sat down.
This maid stood next to her, while Tihana had asked her question, she didn’t stop walking and so the maid had to follow behind.
“We haven’t made anything. We prepared lot of dish earlier on, but none of you had anything. I was waiting for you to decide what we should prepare.”
Tihana looked at her briefly and sigh. “I’m having headache, can I get any medicine?”
The maid bowed and walk away and Tihana just sighed. She have been sighing and mere look at her, one could tell she’s stressed.
Tihana kind of wanted to be left alone, right now, she felt everyone to be a pest on her life. It made her wonder if it was because of her baby?
But heck no! The doctor just said it’s only a month old, how could there start being symptoms immediately. The maid returned back to her with a glass of water and some drug.
Without waiting for instructing, Tihana take it from the plate and throw into her mouth, swallowing it with the water.
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome now. Could you tell me what you’ll like us to prepare?”
That made Tihana remember she never answered that question. Truth be told, she have no idea what to say. She doesn’t feel hungry and it’s almost like she forgot all the names of the foods.
“I’m not hungry. Why not make anything for Aiden and I’ll just go back to sleep.”
Tihana said and look at her phone, viewing the time. It was late.
Tihana wasn’t one bit worried why Aiden wasn’t back home yet. Afterall , starting from today, she had promised herself that she’ll put aside all the feelings and remind herself that this marriage is absolutely nothing but a contract.
“Are you sure about that ma’am? I mean, since you came back home you didn’t had anything and we all have been worried for you.”
Tihana look at her. “Make for only Aiden, and I tell you. I’m fine. I need to be left alone by the way.”
When the maid walks away, Tihana was left to think about her life all over again. It was frustrating… This baby! How is she sure she’s ready to be a Mom?
She’s still battling the fact that she didn’t know who her own real father is, and now… She’s going to give birth and will have to walk out of his life, leaving him with no mother.
Could she possibly do this? Keep up with the terms of her contract?
While lost in thought, Tihana recalled her Conversation with Mr Norman, earlier.. she had seen that question as just nothing of a more meaning.
But now she thinks of it, it made her wonder if Blossom’s father might have possibly known her mother while she was alive?
With the way he asked about her, he obviously might have recognized the picture.
Aiden walked into the house, Tihana who was lost in thought couldn’t have noticed him if not the stinking air that filled up immediately.
Aiden fall on the couch like he was some piece of trash. While Tihana just stares at him, she feel hurt even more.
“Have you gone out drinking?” She questioned no one in particular.
She stood up and made to leave him on that couch, but when she noticed how cold and weezy it was.. she decided to at least do him a little favor even when he doesn’t deserve it.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
Coming back downstairs with a blanket, Tihana removed his shoes and almost puked.
“Goodness. You stink!” She yelled and sat in the floor for a while trying not to vomit.
The smell wasn’t that much, but guess her pregnancy might have added to it. Tihana hates it that everything now reminds her she’s pregnant, it makes her freak out.
Standing up. She managed to cover him with the blanket before retreating back to the room, leaving Aiden there as he was already fast asleep.

Emma paced around the sitting room tapping her feet continuously on the floor. She hates this! She hate that she don’t only have to stop schooling but also have to sit down all day and nurse a sick man.
There’s nothing much more than that she could hate less. Just the smell alone irritates her.
“Mum, why don’t we just ask Tihana for help! There’s no way we can do this on our way. She’ll surely be of help to us here.”
She looked up at Emma and didn’t respond immediately but when she finally does, she was boiling in anger.
“I have told you many times, keep that name off your mouth. I cannot stomp too low to go and beg her to help us, remember… She’s no part of this family.”
“See mother, the more I think about it, the more I think she is part of this family and will always be.”
.”far from that, all I’m saying is that father will die if we don’t get help sooner. I think we should cut down our pride.”
She glared at his daughter but never said or responses to her again.
“I’m heading out. I need to catch some good breath.” With an eye roll, Emma walks out of their apartment.
Her father have been sick and have to retire from work, each day while they think the sickness was getting better… It was far from that.
He needed to be at the hospital, but Emma nor her mother had any cash to place while the medication goes on.
Emma had come to the conclusion to ask Tihana for help, she’s married. Married to a very healthy man! And Emma was sure Tihana would gladly help them out.
She knows Tihana to be the type that never holds a grudge. But Emma’s mother never welcomed the idea of asking Tihana for help.
Infact, they have had serious issue each time Emma speak about it.
“I just hope father doesn’t die before we find help. ” This was Emma’s word, to herself as she stare around the corridor.
