Dale tried to speak, but before he could get a word out, Finley turned to his assistant and said, "Now that the new president is in charge, let's clean up this room. Mr. Cyan, remove the trash for me."

Without hesitation, Edmond grabbed Dale and dragged him out, despite Dale's frantic attempts to resist.

"Let go of me! I said, let go! Wallace Corporation belongs to me! You ungrateful shareholders have benefited from me, and now you're betraying me! You all deserve to die...you all do!" Dale's voice grew weaker and weaker as he was pulled farther away from the room, eventually fading into silence.

With Dale gone, Samantha and Finley sat down to discuss their future plans. The shareholders, watching closely, were impressed by how smoothly Samantha handled Finley. Listening to Finley's strategies, the group grew increasingly satisfied with their new president. As long as profits flowed, they didn't care who sat in the president's seat.

Meanwhile, outside the academy gates, Emily had just stepped out of a car when she was cornered by two thugs. She froze, fear washing over her, and backed up cautiously.

"What do you want?" she asked, her voice shaky.

One of the thugs smirked, running a hand through his hair. "Sweetheart, don't take it personally. We're just doing our job. Someone paid us to deal with you, and when money's involved, we always deliver."

Emily's mind raced. Recently, the only person she had crossed paths with was Hazel. Could Hazel be this ruthless? Did she really want Emily dead just because she lost the bid? Hazel must have decided to take matters to a deadly level.

As fear gripped her, Emily backed away further. Glancing at her nearby classmates, she warned the thugs "If you lay a hand on me, I swear you'll be in handcuffs within half an hour."

The thug laughed mockingly. "Oh, we're shaking in our boots. Go ahead, call the cops."

He reached for her arm, trying to drag her away. Panicked, Emily screamed, "Help! Help! Hazel hired these men to kill me!"

But to her horror, none of her classmates moved. They all just stood there, indifferent. Could they really be this heartless?

Seeing her shouting loudly, one of the thugs grinned at the students. "Relax, folks. We know your classmate. She's just spouting nonsense. We've got some personal business to settle with her. Go on, get back to class."

Without further delay, they tried to force Emily into their car. She screamed even louder, "Help me! Please! I don't know these guys-they're going to kill me! If no one helps, I'm going to die!"

Just as they were about to throw her into the vehicle, a chilling voice rang out from behind them.

"Let her go."

The thugs froze.
