The Billionaire Hit Woman

Chapter 32

CASSANDRA

It’s been a week since Nick proposed to me, but I haven’t had the time to tell Julian, since I’ve been busy at work and she hasn’t been picking her calls, and I couldn’t have gone to see her either since she has been travelling around to different parties and events since it is her Catering company that is in charge of the catering services for them. Yes! Julian is the owner of the biggest catering company in New York. It’s so funny how she went from being a stripper to an inspiration to those who want to also go into catering.

After the arrest of Victoria, Nick said he wanted to meet my family and friends, and then I told him Cole was out of the country and my only family was Frank and Julian, and I took him to the club to meet them. After knowing that Julian was a stripper, and the only reason she did it was to get enough more to grow her small time catering business, and he gave her… I don’t really know… I think it was about four million dollars to kick start the business, and since Nick is a very big businessman, and has a lot of connections, he helped her promote her services.

If not for his help in promoting her business, it would be booming because she really is good at what she does, but she most definitely wouldn’t have-within just three months of starting her business-become a very big, in demand caterer. I pull up in front of her massive mansion, and get out of my car, walking to the door. I received news last night that she had arrived at her house yesterday, and I immediately made arrangements to see her early this morning, before she can even leave her house, thankfully, today’s a Saturday.

Nick wanted to follow me but I told him I wanted to spend some alone time with my bestie and catch up with her, and he wasn’t very happy about the fact that I was leaving him to go see Julian, and he kept lamenting about how I don’t pay enough attention to him. He’s such a joker.

It’s been almost a month since I last saw Julian or even heard her voice, so it makes me nervous now that I’m going to see her, and I swear I’m going to give her a mouthful when I see her. How could she not even bother calling me? I knock on the door of her mansion and a butler opens the door. Wow! She even has a butler… Fancy. “Good day ma’am, how may I help you?”

“I’m Cassandra and I’m her to see my friend, Julian.” I say, and start to make my way into the door but he stops me.

“Do you have an appointment with her?” He asks rudely, and I frown. What’s up with this butler?RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

“I don’t need to have an appointment with her, because I’m her best friend and I can see her whenever I want to, so let me through.” I say, feeling irritated by the way he is looking down on me.

“Ma’am Julian is sleeping and she would be very displeased if she were to be disturbed.” He says, but I just glare at him, and push past him into the house. I start up the stairs and I’m now on the second floor when I remember I don’t know where her room is. I’m about to go back down to find the butler when I start to hear distant moans coming from down the corridor on the floor I’m on. Could that be Julian? She never told me about her having a boyfriend or seeing someone, because she’s not one to do one night stands. Although she was a stripper, she never had sex with any of her clients.

I start to walk towards the noise, and it gets louder and louder till I can confirm its Julian, and someone else. The person’s voice sounds extremely familiar but I can’t really put my finger on it. I get to the front of the door where the sound is coming from, and hear the other person’s voice again, this time I know who it is. Frank… what the actual fuck? She never said anything about them seeing each other, because that’s the only feasible explanation for what I’m hearing.

I push the door open, barging into the room with anger written all over my face, to see Julian riding Frank under the duvet. Thankfully, they aren’t in a position where I can see Frank’s dick else things will be very weird and awkward between us. You barged into their room, Cassy, even when you knew they were having sex and now you’re talking about not wanting to see Frank’s dick, what were you expecting? Julian and Frank snap their head in my direction in anger, but realizing it’s me, their expressions become filled with guilt.

“Cassy…” She trails off, and I can tell she’s feeling very, very guilty.

“Hey, bestie.” I say sarcastically, laying emphasis on the ‘bestie’ before storming out of the room, to the living room. How dare she? How dare they? How could they keep something like that from me?

I sit on a couch and as expected, Julian comes running down after a few minutes in a bum shot and oversized T-shirt, with her lips still swollen and her hair, a total mess. “I’m so sorry Cassy.” She says, standing in front of me.

“How could you Julian? You become a bigshot and suddenly you don’t have time for me. I’ve been coming to your house, calling you, coming to your company, but you are never around, and you’re supposed to be my best friend, and I know you’d have been complaining if I was the one. How could you? You just stopped having time for me completely when I needed you the most.” I say, almost about to cry.

When Victoria was arrested, I became paranoid and would see her in every face and at every place, I would hear her voice, threatening to kill me and it was really a hard time for Nicholas and I, he even took days off from work to help me get through, which made me feel extremely guilty, especially after what I’d done to him, and so I pretended to be okay. I tried to talking to Julian but she was too busy starting her business to even have time for me, and I just couldn’t talk to Frank about it, because I’m not really comfortable with talking to him about personal stuffs like that.

So I had to pretend to be okay, just so Nick wouldn’t have to stay home, but then once when he wasn’t around, a new neighbor who had moved into the house beside ours came to my door to introduce herself and offer my cookies. She was a really pretty lady, but because of how bad I had gotten, and how hard it was for me to cope with it on my own, I passed out in fright, and Nick had to start taking me to a Therapist.

“I’m so sorry bae, I don’t have any excuses. I just got too carried away.” She confesses and I can feel the guilt she is feeling ripping her apart, and I was about to forgive her when Frank came jogging down the stairs, looking guilty and unable to meet my eyes. So, I’m not forgiving her, how pleasant.
