Chapter 78
Happy reading..
So now what should Elena do? Instead, she is trapped in the same relationship with her past. Where she became the third female figure in Hera and Jayden’s household. The person she really hated.
Not.
Elena is not a third person. Precisely Hera who became the third person in their relationship. She was the first to be with Jayden not Hera.
“Yes, I am not a woman who snatches other people’s husbands. Jayden is mine from the start, not Hera’s.”
Elena was so sure of her belief. And nothing will ever make that trust disappear. Now it’s just a matter of how to keep Jayden by her side. Elena will do anything no matter if it hurts others or even herself.
Elena stepped her feet that felt so heavy into the house. Her face was puffy and shabby. Her head also felt dizzy making her have to lean against the wall of the house for a while and then gently massage her temples.
“Shit! Looks like I cried too much today” Elena grumbled to herself. She then continued walking after taking a deep breath.
The house was so quiet and dark when Elena arrived. To be honest, Elena really hoped that Jayden would be there to welcome her. Apologizes for what he did to Elena today. As he usually did when he made Elena angry. But it turned out that Jayden wasn’t there.
Instantly Elena’s chest felt tight. Oh Lord! Why has Jayden changed so much? Elena seemed to no longer recognize Jayden’s figure now. She don’t know where Jayden has gone, who used to love her so much, adore her and promise to make her happy.
Why is the marriage that should make Elena happy, but the opposite? Jayden continues to disappoint and hurt her. And it’s all because of Hera. Elena’s hands clenched at her sides. Her jaw hardened from the anger that had built up.

Even though Elena no longer wanted to have anything to do with Hera, this situation left her with no choice.

“Why can I say that to Elena?” muttered Jayden. He don’t know why he’s been out of control lately. Even worse, the victim must be Elena. The woman he really loves and should be happy with.
“Actually what happened to me?” Jayden asked to no one.
After Elena left earlier, Jayden chose to return to his office. He didn’t immediately go after Elena because Jayden knew that if his feelings were in a mess like now, instead of making up with Elena they would end up fighting. Jayden needs time to cool off and his office is the best place. Busy yourself with all the work. Until the evening before the man was still busy with several files scattered on his desk.
It was already ten o’clock in the evening. Jayden took a deep breath before heading home.
His footsteps took Jayden to the main room he shared with Elena—which was previously shared with Hera. Slowly he opened the door and saw Elena sleeping with her back turned to him. Jayden closed the door again, not wanting to disturb his wife. Sometimes Jayden wonders to himself. Isn’t this what he wants? Married and lives with Elena. But why does it seem like he can’t feel happiness even though he is already with the person he loves?
If only Hera had never been present in my life, maybe none of this would have happened. Inner Jayden. At a time like this he still blamed Hera for his feelings.
Jayden gulped down half of the water he took in the refrigerator. The man then left. He had to clear himself and his mind as well.
Twenty minutes passed, Jayden, who deliberately took a shower in the bathroom on the first floor because he didn’t want to disturb Elena, stood still with a small towel still perched on his head.
“Elena,” Jayden whispered, looking at Elena who was sitting on the sofa in the living room.
The woman just stared at him with a look that was difficult to decipher. Jayden couldn’t run anymore. The problem should be solved tonight. His feelings have improved, not as chaotic as before.
“Why are you awake?” Jayden asked either to make small talk or to avoid talking.
Elena didn’t answer until Jayden was now sitting beside her. Jayden could see the woman’s eyelids were swollen and red. He don’t know how long Elena cried.
Oh my God Jayden! What have you done to your woman?
“Forgive me.”
Jayden opened his mouth again when he saw Elena’s lips move as if she was about to speak.
“You said you didn’t have time for our honeymoon because your work was so urgent. But you were able to leave the urgent job to come to the hospital to visit Juan,” Elena said with eyes full of disappointment. “I’m not forbidding you to meet Juan because after all he’s still your son… I’m just jealous that you care more about him than me, Jay. Can’t you be fair to me and your son? Please.”
Elena brought her hands together in front of Jayden. Putting on a pitiful face, begging desperately for his wish to be granted. Jayden was speechless there. Making him only hug Elena tightly while muttering sorry.
“I’m sorry, honey. I really didn’t mean to make you cry like this. You know how much I love you right?”
Elena nodded slowly in Jayden’s arms. They then broke the hug. They stare at each other.
“I don’t know what happened to me. I had a hard time controlling myself until I unknowingly hurt you. Please forgive me, Elena,” Jayden said again.
Elena pulled the corners of her lips into a smile. “I know. My Jayden can’t change.”
Jayden smiled and hugged Elena again. Both are so naive to each other’s feelings. Elena really knew that Jayden had changed since he married Hera. But Elena chose to close her eyes and ears. Don’t want to accept reality. She was too afraid of losing Jayden.
Likewise with Jayden. He knew very well that his feelings for Elena were no longer the same as before. But he also chose to remain silent because he did not want to hurt Elena. Without knowing that actually keeping silent would actually hurt Elena more in the future.
Jayden too sticks to his promise to make Elena happy whether it will work or not. If feelings are no longer the same, can promises still be kept? What kind of relationship are they actually in? Even the two of them didn’t know what to say.
“Elena?” Jayden called softly.
“Yes?” Elena replied, sinking her head further into Jayden’s chest.
“I want you to get pregnant soon.”
To be continuous….
