Chapter 82
Pamela didn't get the person that she wanted, and neither did Sabrina.
For some reason, this made her feel extremely satisfied.
However, the next day, Nelson showed up with Dylan.
Dylan openly set up a high-definition camera in her living room and placed a packet of medicine on her coffee table.
Nelson leaned against the wall near the hall. "Take it."
"Mr. Tucker, what is this?" Pamela was terrified but forced a smile.
"It's the same thing you gave Sabrina that night. I'm returning it to you." His dark eyes were calm, and he spoke as if he was merely discussing the weather.
She became terrified and started to beg him.
Nelson lit a cigarette.
His gaze was filled with coldness as he stared at her. "Take it and record yourself. If the recording isn't clear, take it again until the process is fully captured."
At that moment, Pamela relented. He was willing to go this far for Sabrina.
"Isn't once enough? Isn't that enough for what I did to her?" she asked.
"Do you think you're worthy of being compared to her? Who do you think you are?" he said, glaring at her with extreme annoyance.
He despised wasting his time dealing with her foolishness.
She knew she had no choice and took the medicine.
Just like before, Nelson got up to leave.
Pamela sat on the floor and watched his tall figure. "Mr. Tucker, you're a jerk for taking advantage of Ms. Wyatt's love while waiting for your beloved to appear!"
In an instant, his back stiffened. He saw her mocking smile as if she were ridiculing him.
No matter what he did for Sabrina, it wasn't what she wanted.
Once the riff between a husband and wife had formed, it was difficult to repair.
…
At home, Nelson held Sabrina's resume.
She graduated from West Shores University at 21 and joined the Tucker Group as a supply chain purchaser.
To put it bluntly, Sabrina's efforts were a significant factor in the company's achievement of becoming a leading supply chain across all categories in the sector.
The financial results were outstanding, with revenue growing year after year. She also formed a very effective management team.
Nelson had always assumed Sabrina's achievements were because of his parents.
However, during the time they spent together, he realized she was truly remarkable.
At that moment, Dylan hurried in.
He looked up and asked, "Is she home?"
"Yes. After dropping Mr. Ingram home, she drove back."
Nelson glanced at the clock. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
It was 10.30 pm. He wondered what they talked about for so long.
Dylan saw the documents in his hand and sighed.
It was too late for Nelson to finally understand Sabrina. They were about to get a divorce.
Nelson glanced at Dylan since he was standing by the side. "Take a seat."
"Why did you advise me to divorce?" he asked, recalling how Ronaldo and Shannon always tried to bring him and Sabrina together.
Shannon hadn't even called recently, nor did she meddle in his affairs anymore.
The same goes for Ronaldo as well.
Even Dylan was advising him to divorce now.
Dylan was thinking about how to explain when Nelson continued, "Is it because you all can't stand seeing how disappointed she is with me?"
Nelson was reminded of when Sabrina asked him what he had given her in this home.
Aside from her three years of waiting and the humiliation of kneeling at the coffee table, he hadn't given her anything else.
"Pamela already knows who your beloved is. And you don't seem to like Mrs. Tucker that much. So it would be better for you to be with your beloved," Dylan said.
Dylan was right.
Nelson's beloved was the person he wanted to hold onto. She was the one he had been searching for and was never willing to give up on.
But he didn't want to divorce or let go of Sabrina either.
