Chapter 1250: The Boxing Club President
Chapter 1250: The Boxing Club President
Huh?
Chris Shelby was taken aback.
He was speechless at Bobby's interference. What did it have to do with him?
Marie stood up angrily and said, "Bobby, I've already told you I don't like you. Why do you keep pestering me? Do you know how annoying you are? Get out of here now; I don't want to see you!" Marie was genuinely angry at Bobby.
She didn't like Bobby at all and had made that very clear to him before.
But Bobby kept clinging to her, making her extremely frustrated.
Bobby gritted his teeth and said, "Marie, I like you so much. Why won't you be my girlfriend? Do you have another man in your heart?"
"That's right!"
Marie stepped forward and took Chris Shelby's arm. "You're right. He's the one I like! He's my boyfriend! So, I suggest you give up and stop bothering me, or my boyfriend will be unhappy!" Hearing this, Chris Shelby was completely stunned.
When did he become Marie's boyfriend?
But seeing Marie's expression, he realized she was using him as a shield.
Thinking of this, Chris Shelby couldn't help but smile wryly.
Harold Jefferson looked shocked. He never expected his sister to say she liked Chris Shelby!
Oh my God!
What was going on?
At this moment, Marie's face was flushed, and her heart was pounding fast.
In fact, Marie really hoped she could be Chris Shelby's girlfriend.
But she knew it was impossible. According to her brother Harold Jefferson, Chris Shelby loved his wife deeply and would never like another woman!
However, upon hearing Marie say that the person she liked was Chris Shelby, Bobby's face twisted with rage.
"You bastard! You still dare to say you're just friends with Marie! If you're a man, fight me one-on-one. If you lose, you must stay away from Marie forever!"
Although Chris Shelby didn't like Marie romantically, he always treated her like a sister.
Seeing Bobby pestering Marie, as a brother figure, Chris Shelby certainly wouldn't stand by and do nothing.
Moreover, now he was Marie's nominal boyfriend.
If he backed down now, how could Marie hold her head up at school in the future?
Thinking of this, Chris Shelby stepped forward and looked at Bobby disdainfully. "I didn't want to bother with you. You're not even worthy to tie my shoes! But since you want a fight, I'll oblige. Just don't regret it later!"
Given Chris Shelby's status, Bobby wasn't even an ant in his eyes.
But for Marie's sake, Chris Shelby decided to teach Bobby a lesson so he would stop pestering her.
"Heh!"
Bobby sneered. "Kid, regret? You should find out who I am first. I've beaten everyone at East Coast University! Going against me will show you the consequences."
Hearing this, Chris Shelby felt speechless.
Beaten everyone at East Coast University?
And he dared to boast in front of him.
Chris Shelby said calmly, "This place is too small. Let's go outside."
After all, they were in a restaurant; it wouldn't be good to break things here.
Bobby nodded. "Fine, let's go outside!"
Then Chris Shelby and the others walked out of the restaurant.
Bobby stared intently at Chris Shelby. "Kid, if you admit defeat now and promise not to see Marie again, I'll let you off."
"Don't waste time. If I can't beat you in one move, I'll consider it my loss!"
Chris Shelby was too lazy to argue with Bobby any further; he was uninterested.
He was the King of East Coast; what was Bobby compared to that?
Just an inexperienced college student who hadn't faced the harsh realities of life!
If Chris Shelby admitted defeat, it would tarnish his reputation as Primus.
"Kid, you're too arrogant!"
Hearing this, Bobby's face turned livid.
As the president of East Coast University's boxing club, Bobby walked around the campus unchallenged.
It was the first time he had met someone as arrogant as Chris Shelby who didn't take him seriously at all.
"Enough! Stop blabbering. Fight if you're going to fight; otherwise get lost and don't disturb my meal!" Chris Shelby glanced at Bobby with annoyance.
"Go to hell!"
Faced with Chris Shelby's disregard, Bobby was utterly enraged.
He roared and charged at Chris Shelby.
To be fair, Bobby did have some skills.
After all, he was the president of East Coast University's boxing club and had the strength equivalent to a hybrid level fighter.
A hybrid level fighter in college was indeed impressive.
But in Chris Shelby's eyes, he was no different from an ant.
Seeing Bobby charging towards him, Marie looked worried.
She knew very well how strong Bobby was; no one at East Coast University could match him.
Marie couldn't help but regret using Chris Shelby as a shield; otherwise Bobby wouldn't have targeted him.
If anything happened to Chris Shelby because of her actions, she would feel terribly guilty.
Harold Jefferson remained calm on the side.
He knew very well how powerful Chris Shelby was; even as a Grandmaster level practitioner himself wasn't a match for him. How could Bobby stand a chance? Challenging Chris Shelby was merely seeking humiliation!
As Bobby charged towards him, Chris Shelby stood still without making any moves.
Seeing this, Bobby smirked coldly.
In his mind, Chris Shelby must have been scared stiff by him.
Bobby clenched his fist and swung it hard at Chris Shelby.
At that moment he seemed already envisioning beating up Chris Shelby until his face was bruised and swollen.
Just as Bobby's fist reached him though-Chris yawned nonchalantly-he quickly grabbed Bobby's fist mid-air effortlessly catching it within seconds flat!
"No! This can't be happening!"

someone else left poor ol' Bob absolutely dumbfounded screaming out loud disbelief written all over every inch of his face!
Chris spoke calmly yet firmly saying "Nothing is impossible when dealing with someone like yourself who amounts little more than mere insect status within my world view! Your so-called title means absolutely zitch here!"
With those words spoken aloud-Chris threw poor ol' Bob flying across room crashing onto ground hard enough sending shockwaves throughout entire area leaving everyone present stunned beyond betief witnessing such display raw power firsthand!
Students around them were left utterly shocked seeing their campus hero defeated so easily by someone they barely knew existed until now!
Harold couldn't help but smirk saying "Anyone daring lay hand upon Mr. Shelby is simply overestimating themselves!"
