Caught Between The twin CEO

Chapter 115

Jaxton stared into his eyes with a racing heart, still contemplating if what he was going to say would get him angry or not.

Then he asked him the question first. “His anything the matter?” Paxton inquired noticing that Jaxton was a little bit unsettled. Seeing this as the perfect opportunity, Jaxton dropped down to the ground and picked up the photo of Sydney on the floor.

“It’s about her,” Jaxton returned showing the photo to him but immediately he saw her photo, his eyes shit back into their sockets in sudden grief and he shook his head side by side.

“No, I don’t want to talk about her. Not now, not ever,” Paxton returned.

Jaxton’s heart sank with disappointment but he wasn’t just going to give up like that, he was going to press until he agreed.

“But,” he tried to say but Paxton would not listen to a single word that he had to say.

“No buts,” he returned. “I only told you that I don’t want to talk about her,” he ended. But as Paxton already knew, Jaxton wasn’t the kind of person that was prone to giving up so easily.

.”But I know that you still have a place for her in your heart but you are just trying to deny that,” he returned and Paxton finally raised his head.

“No I don’t, she is just a part of my past now,” he returned shaking his head.

“But why do you still have a photo of her in your office, swept under your office desk? You have always been thinking about her all this while and I know that you can certainly not deny it,” Jaxton returned.

A sigh escaped from Paxton’s mouth. “We can never be together again, we are ten worlds far apart,” he returned.

“No, I lied that time,” Jaxton finally returned. “You what? I don’t understand,” Paxton returned with a raised eyebrow.

“The fact that she used to be a stripper is true but she never actually sold her body for money. I am sorry I lied to you about her too, I also liked her,” Jaxton returned.

Paxton’s heart sank remembering what he had done to her. The screams, the tears, they all flicked in his eyes like a movie. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

“God what have I done now,” he sobbed.

“I said all that out of anger because I noticed that she was getting along with you and she liked you more than she liked me,” he said to Paxton.

Paxton was shocked and confused. He didn’t know what to do now after the way he had treated her like pure thrash. Kicking her out of his office after all her pleas.

“I’m not going to have anything to do with her anymore. The love between the both of you is stronger. You love her and I know she loves you too.”

Jaxton told Paxton he can have Sydney since he loved Sydney more and Sydney also love Paxton. Jaxton said he won’t get between them again. Jaxton apologize one more time and left Paxton in his office.

“I am sorry again for everything,” Jaxton ended and walked out of Paxton’s office seeing how heavy his heart was so that he would have enough space to think.

Meanwhile, Paxton sat still with his eyes filled with tears. He could feel his anger rising so badly that he had to clutch his hands to control rising anger.

“I wished I had believed her instead of him,” he growled. “But what do I do now,” he thought again Confused.

But he was determined to get her back at every cost. Even if it meant that he had to kill for it or even destroy a whole nation. “I must get all back at all cost,” he growled in his head.

But the question now was where he going to start. He wasn’t the type of guy that gets entangled in love stories like this.

“I wondered what spell she had cast on me this time,” he muttered aloud. Then an idea struck him, making a smile hhoveringon his face again after such a very long time.

He brought out a cell phone from his pocket and punched in his cousin’s contact, Lydia. She was the perfect love Doctor and would certainly know what to do at this stage of his.

“Hello cousin Paxton,” a sweet Female voice sprang up from the other end of the phone

They exchanged pleasantries and Paxton went straight to the question that he had for her.

“Hmmm Lyd.. ia,” he noted with a stuttery voice.

“What’s it again?” Lydia noted and burst into laughter.

“I need your help. I somehow lost a girl and I want her back at all cost, I am ready to do everything possible to get her but the problem now is that I don’t even know where to start,” the signed.

“You in love?” Lydia laughed out loud at the end of the photo. “Who is this girl? What love charm did she use on you? How did you even fall into her trap? I want to know every single bit of it,” Lydia replied From the other end of the phone.

But Paxton didn’t want to spill everything to her since it was between him and his twin brother. “I don’t want to stress you out with the details, just help me the best possible way you can,” Paxton returned.

But Lydia would not let go just like that. She needed to satisfy her curiosity. “I’m not spitting out a word until you tell me what’s going on. When you are ready, I am just a call away,” she said and wanted to hang up but Paxton stopped her immediately.

“No wait, don’t hang up,” he yells after her. “So?” Sydney inquired.

“Okay, I will tell you,” he returned. Paxton explained everything to her from the start to the finish and at the end of the story, a long sigh escaped from his mouth.

“It would be hard to get her back since you have already broken her trust,” she noted.

Immediately she said this word, his heart sank in deep sorrow. “Isn’t there anything I can do to amend my mistakes?” Paxton inquired with tear-filled eyes and a broken voice.

Lydia sighed. She knew that it was going to be difficult but they could give it a shot.

“You will have to go see her first to know if she is fine. Then you will have to start chasing her from the start again,” Lydia noted.

“Okay, I will do just that. Thank you very much,” he appreciated and hung up.

Paxton got up from his desk immediately. “I will have to go see her now,” he said to himself.

But he was scared. Scared that Sydney wasn’t even going to give him listening ears.
