Lydia’s eyes book fired and her face holds a great sense of pain.

Please sit… we’ve been given this private space to talk and plan cor need more… I inform them both, being both follow my instruction and approach the sofa or

She wore comber clothes which if her better and were clean as she sat opposite me and wrapped her skinny arms and her stomach in a self hig

“Lydia I know it’s hard… but I need to know each and every detail about what happened to you both after the party. Every little thing you seen…could help indicate where Rose is.” I begin, holding a pencil and note pad in hand prepared to take notes.

Hunt sits down beside her, as she scoots closer to him a little seeming to find added comfort in her presence, Lydia glances at Hunt, before her eyes fall back on my own followed by a curt nod,

“Of course… I’ll just… start from the beginning?” Lydia offers, as I straighten up and give my full attention.

“That’s great… take it away,” I nod, pushing her on, as she looks down at her legs–taking a deep breath before beginning…

“During the fight at the hall… when the smoke explosions were set off… prople grabbed us and held cloths up to our faces–knocking us out.” Lydi explains, as I chew my tongue in annoyance picturing the scene and how terrified they both must have been.

“… I don’t know what happened from there… until we woke up in the back of the van. We were tied up and gagged” Lydia pauses for a breath, at glance at Hunt whose knuckles were turning white from his tightening grip.

“When we were both awake… we managed to help one another out of the restraints… and Rose catne up with a plan.” Lydia nods at the memory, licking her dry lips before continuing

“Rose wanted us to jump out of the moving van and make a run for H… and I wasn’t sure at first.. Rose admits, her voice quiet as she avoids eye

“So what happened?” 1 push on, scribbling some details down about the story.

“Well uh… our wolves were both gone when we woke up, I think because of the drugs, and I was really worried that we wouldn’t be able to run away from them without being able to shift” Lydia looks up, glancing at me and then at Hunt as though to see our reaction thus far.

“You’re doing great.” Hunt offers his approval, as Lydia shuffles an extra bit closer to him before pulling her knees up to her chest.

“We had no choice but to try it though… and so lose convinced me to jump out with her… and so we ran in to the woods as fast as we consid and didn’t look back!” Lydia sniffles slightly, chewing her lip as I scribble down some more.

My heart warmed a little at hearing how Rose had taken control of the situation – planning their escape which lead to Lydia managing to get away.

She was braver than the even knew…and I just wish she was here for me to tell her that!

“They quickly realised that we had jumped out, and they pulled up down the road and followed us in to the woods…She states, chewing her nail as though growing nervous at the mirmory

“How many of them was there?” I ask, trying to find any minor details to help build our c

our case.

“Three… the girl from the bathroom and two guys who I haven’t seen before.” Lydia confirms, as my jaw tightens at her words.

The girl from the fucking bathroom?!

“Elza?!” I grit through my teeth, showing my distaste for the woman in question, as Lydia nods once to confirm my question,

That sneaky little fucking whore!

“They gained on us, and so we had to hide in a bush to avoid being seen… Elza lost it at that point with the other two guys… she was really mad that they had lost us.” Lydia tells us, as I shift in my seat a little returning to the note taking.

“Do you remember anything that she said? Anything at all?!I question, hoping for the slightest bit of information.

Lydia’s brows pull together as she thinks hard on it, trying her best to piece together the memory as accurately as possible.

“One of the guys was named Quad or Quad…something like that… I remember Elza saying he was supposed to be a great tracker and yet couldn’t find us!” Lydia explains, as my eyes widen a little.

Quade wasn’t from Derricks pack… he was from Jacobs….

“Ash what the fuck?!” Hunt speaks up now, looking just as pissed off as 1 feel.

I hold a finger up to silence him, not wanting to break Lydia’s thought process by going off on a tangent.

I’ll deal with Jacob and Quade later…

“He was complaining after that… saying it was the largest woods in the country and she should try finding two females without scents in it!” Lydia continues on, seeming to grasp back different details nushing them out at me before she would forget them.

The largest woods in the county… that’s great!

“They decided to split up after that, and so we waited a little while before we tried to make another run for it… but… Lydia’s breath catches in her throat, her eyes watering at the memory.

“But what?!” My tone comes out desperate, needing to know each and every detail.

“But that’s when we ran in to the guy with the gun…” Lydia whispers, as my blood nuns cold at the thought of them being hunted through the woods with a damn gun!

It was barbaric!

“We ran as fast as we could… but Rose knew we wouldn’t make it out together… she told me to climb a nearby tree to stay out of sight whilst she lead them away in hopes that one of us could escape and find help!” Lydia suddenly sobs, covering her face with her hands as she remembers the scene vividly.

My Rose… she was a hero! She basically sacrificed herself to make sure that Lydia had a shot of escaping!

Wow

“I couldn’t see her after that… b–but I heard the gun… and I heard her scream out in agony… I’m sorry Alpha! I shouldn’t have left her there!” Lydia cries out, guilt suddenly washing over her now as I shake my head firmly.

No! None of this is your fault! Rose knew what needed to be done and here you are –helping us to find her! We can find her much easier now thanks to you being here Lydia! This was the best chance you both had at surviving this!” 1 state, meaning each and every word, as she wipes at her wet face with her sleeve.

“B–But what if something terrible happened to her! I won’t forgive myself” Lydia hiccups, her tear stricken face and puffy eyes speaking a thousand words on how guilty she felt.

“The guards here went out to check the location and no body was found. They have Rose with them Lydia, they wouldn’t let her die. They don’t have any leverage over us with her dead.” Hunt explains, as Lydia sniffles and tries to listen to his words.

This whole event had been exhausting for her… understandably.

“Is there anything else you heard them say Lydia? About a location or a mention of a pack? Think hard on it…” I test, gaining Lydia’s attention again as she continues to even out her rapid breathing

Silence follows, as she thinks for a couple of minutes – her eyes shifting from side to side as if she wa

was sifting through her memory bank inside her

“Uh… I remember one thing… but I don’t understand it or know what it means.” Lydia straightens up, her brows pulling together as though she had remembered something important.

“What is it? Anything could be helpful.” I press, my eagerness and impatience evident as I await Lydia’s revelation

She takes a deep breath, as if preparing herself to share a piece of information that may hold significance.

“When Elza was pissed off at the guys for losing us in the woods… she mentioned something about them having one job…” Lydia begins, as Hunt even perks up this time–sensing that this may be useful to us.

“What was it?” Hunt ruche

Hunt pushes next, reaching out to place a comforting hand on her arm–giving it a gentle squeeze as she breathes in…

“That they were supposed to take us South… towards something like an Element or a Nature thing… I can’t quite remember the name, it was something like…”

“The Natural Element!” Both myself and Hunt speak out in unison, connecting the clues and confirming the location.

That’s it! Yeah! That’s where they

ey said they had to take us… I’ve never heard of it.” Lydia looks between us, expecting an explanation, as I instantly stand from my position on the chair.

We fucking have them!

We know where they are!

*Would they seriously dare to enter the Holy Ground though Ash?!” Hunt stands to follow me, as I head straight for the phone to call Sawyer.

“It’s exactly where they would go! Think about it Hunt! I’ve not been able to find that fucker and those missing children for months… and the only place I wouldn’t think to look is the Natural Element! It’s off–limits to pretty much everyone – it’s an ideal hiding spot for him!” I almost cheer, feeling a little taste of victory approaching on the horizon.

“Fuck

you’re right! Lydia you’ve done it!” Hunt exclaims, pulling her to him in a tight hug – as Lydia’s eyes light up with sudden hope.

I dial Sawyer’s number in urgently, anticipation and determination coursing through me with the major update. This was perfect!

The phone rings twice, each second feeling like an eternity until he finally answers…

“Sawyer, we’ve got a lead and a pretty good one too! Rose might be held at the Natural Element. Gather your best men; we’re heading there now! Send the others in to take over Derricks pack!” I relay the information swiftly, my voice carrying a sense of urgency.

Sawyer’s response is quick, “Great! You got it, Ashton! We’ll be ready and we’ll meet you down there!” His tone picks up too, as I hold back a smile.

We haven’t found her yet..

Don’t get ahead of yourself…

“Oh shit! One more thing… Quade was in on it… the kidnapping!” I state, with my temper coming back in full waves.

“What?! As in, Jacobs tracker Quade? That can’t be right!” Sawyers tone matches my own, as my free hand balls up in to a fist.

“It’s true… I fear that Jacobs been in on this the whole time! Have a team investigate in to him and his pack immediately!” I Instruct, before Sawyer takes note of our next steps and we end the line.

By the looks of things… some pretty big shit is about to go down…

“We’re going to get Rose back. The Natural Element is where they’re hiding, I’m certain of it! We won’t let them escape this time.” I tell Hunt and Lydia, as they both stand to follow me out.

As we exit the room, the scent of anticipation and determination lingers in the air.

We gather the necessary forces, and with the Six Ridge Pack’s support, we set out towards the Natural Element, our destination now clear, and fortunately not too far from this pack!

Say about an hours drive….

I’m going to find her and get her back!
