Dear Ex-wife Marry Me

Chapter 2051

Beck Sanders frowned, wondering why on earth she didn't get that her attitude was pushing him away. Couldn't she see that chasing after a measly 1% stake in the Sanders empire was a lost cause? Leaning back with a casual air, Stella Sanders propped her head on her hand. "Hey Beck, let me buy you a drink."

Beck offered a half-smile, eyeing the five bottles she'd just opened, playing the generous host to a bunch of happy suckers.

But Stella waved over the bartender, ordering up the priciest cocktail on the menu.

"For anyone else, it's cash upfront, but for you, Beck, it's on the house."

Beck raised an eyebrow, surprised that Stella was actually willing to loosen the purse strings.

After taking a sip, he noticed Stella getting up, slightly tipsy.

"Beck, I'll be right back, just heading to the restroom."

Beck couldn't care less, pulling out his phone to check his messages.

Ten minutes later, he found himself surrounded by a group of angry men.

"It's him! He's got his girlfriend working as a shill!"

"Looks like a decent guy, but using Elle like that... And she's totally smitten with him."

"Elle falling for a guy like that, now that's a joke. Pay up!"

"We don't want to be your fools. Give us back the thousands we spent on those drinks."

"Damn, I also dropped thousands. Elle really played us, funding her Rocky-faced boyfriend with our money?"

Beck looked up, recognizing the man who'd been bragging about buying rounds earlier, his forehead creasing with worry. "Are you talking to me?"

"Who else? Listen up, Rocky-face, if you don't pay up, you're not walking out of here."

Caught off guard and increasingly irritated, Beck couldn't believe these guys couldn't

"Out of my way."

As soon as he spoke, the men made their move.

into this mess. They were heartbroken.

Beck could handle himself, but the crowded bar limited his movements. Soon, he took a punch to the face.

With no other choice, he called on the bouncers for help.

With a dark expression and touching the bruise forming on his face, Beck thought of Stella and seethed. Nobody had ever dared to cross him like this.

He immediately dialed Morgan.

Morgan, Stella's so-called brother, was equally perplexed by suddenly having a sister, especially one they'd both wronged in the past. Seeing Beck's call, he was intrigued

Their family had always wanted to get on Beck and Dylan Sanders' good side, but opportunities were rare.

Without preamble, Beck got straight to the point. "What's Stella's number?"

Morgan was taken aback by the direct request but dutifully recited it.

Beck wasted no time in calling Stella.

She answered, her voice a mix of seductiveness and feigned innocence.

"Beck."

Hearing her voice, Beck felt a block in his chest, his tone laced with sarcasm. "What, fall into the toilet?"
