Chapter 109
Chapter 109
Sofia’s POV
I made my way out of the walk-in closet as soon as I was done with dressing up and running my comb
through my hair. I had paired my feet with a pair of black sandals with thin straps, that was what I was
going to be wearing in the house, through the whole of today. I pulled the door close behind me and
made my way into the bedroom once again, walking around the huge bed in the room and making my
way towards the other side of the bed, towards the bedside table where my phone was located.
I picked up my phone and turned around on my heels as I started to make my way out of the room,
before slowly pausing in my track and turning around on my heels before making my way towards the
bed. I dropped my phone on the tip of the bed and started to make my way towards the walk-in closet,
in order to find something which I could use in holding my hair together.
It had suddenly occurred to me as I was about to make my way out of the bedroom, that I’d be doing a
lot of things today, which was going to involve so many body movements, and my hair which was going
to be getting into my face so much, was going to be a bit of a problem, and also an inconvenience.
I searched around the drawers beneath the dressing table, in hopes of finding something which I’d
used in packing my hair up, since this was the table in which Luca used in taking care of his hair.
I was about to give up on finding something right before I pulled out the fifth drawer beneath the table
and saw a packet of something that looked so much like ribbons. Hoping I was intruding into Luca’s
privacy this way, I opened the packet and moved my lips from side to side as soon as my eyes landed
on the content of the packet. It was a bunch of rubber-like materials in which it could be used to hold up
hair. I picked out two pieces and returned the packet back into the place where I had gotten it from,
before pushing myself back to my feet and standing before the dressing table, and staring at myself in
the mirror as I placed the rubber against my teeth and started to gather my full and long hair around,
behind tbe back of my head.
Once I was done, I picked up the piece of rubber from in between my teeth and used it to pack my hair
behind my head. Staring at myself into the mirror, I moved my head from side to side and picked out
two curls of the hair from both sides of my head, and watched as it curled up around my face and the
tips were grazing my shoulders.
I turned around and made my way out of the walk-in closet, making my way out of the closet and into
the bedroom. After picking my phone up from the tip of the bed, I began to make my way out of the
bedroom in the next second.
I made my way down the stairs and began to gawk on my lower lips as I descended the stairs
completely. My eyes trailed over tbe painting materials which were placed on the side of the stairs, they
were still in the spot where they had been in last night, and I felt the unconscious breath which I had
held captive in my throat immediately after I had woken up, began to whoosh out from my throat in that
very second.
A part of me had been hoping that Luca wouldn’t have changed his mind about the permission which
he had given to me yesterday afternoon, because I had been imagining that he’d come back home last
night and order the whole painting materials which I had gotten from the mall, along with Ethan and
Ryan– be thrown out, because he might have suddenly realized that the permission which he had
given to me, had been a huge mistake.
I moved away from the spot where I had been standing, for a little while and made my way straight into
the kitchen. I had a feeling it would have been past eleven a.m at the moment. The kitchen was
currently empty as I made my way into it and dragged in the creamy smell which hung into the air,
straight into my lungs.
I made my way towards the sink and washed my hands under the warm water running From tbe two
located at the side of the sink, cleaning my fingers against the warm material of the towel which was
hanging off the rack, which was placed on the upper side of the spot above the sink.
I fiddled with the coffee machine and heaped spoonful of coffee into the machine, before pushing it
close and leaning against the side of the counter as I waited for the coffee to get ready. I know that I
needed to get some food into my stomach as well, because for one, I still needed to make use of my
drugs, and I also needed to get something into my stomach since I was going to be working today and
needed all the strength I was going to be getting, by the look of things.
I turned around on my heels as soon as the coffee machine dinged, and I poured the coffee into a cup
as soon as I had turned the coffee machine off. I got up on my toes and tried to get the cupboards
located s over this particular side of the counter, to get the milk and sugar which I was going to use in
pre ordering my coffee, but the cupboard was somewhat too high for me to be able to reach.
I got down on my heels and started to glance around the whole kitchen, in search of something which I
could use to give myself a little more height but found nothing. I climb have gone into the dining room
and get one of the chairs around the table, but I knew without even trying that I wouldn’t be able to lift
the chair up, since it had always looked really heavy, telling from the texture of the chairs, as well as
the designs.
I huffed low in my throat and turned around until I was leaning my back against the kitchen counter, and
then with that, I picked up the plain cup of coffee and decided to drink it up that way, even though I Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
hated black coffee with so much passion and preferred lots of cream and sugar in my coffee.
I lifted the cup of coffee to my lips and took in a tiny sip, scrunching up my face as tbe hot and bitter as
well as tasteless coffee flooded my tongue slightly, tbe hotness of tbe liquid scalding the tip of my
tongue as well, and not in a good way. I moved towards the side of tbe counter and started to make my
way towards the rows of high chairs located on the other side of the counter– because I wanted to sit
down a little and rest my legs a little since I have been standing for sometime now, and also because I
wanted to sit down and try to force the tasteless coffee down my throat.
